The St Petersburg University Centre for Geology was created in 2011 with the participation of St Petersburg University (in accordance with Federal Law-217), implements the commercial direction of the Institute of Earth Sciences of St Petersburg University and performs the following activities:
• Geology of mineral deposits
• Geophysics
• Geochemistry
• Geoecology
• Hydrogeology
• Crystallography
• Sedimentary geology and tectonics
Integrated work:
• Exploration work for solid minerals
• Search and assessment of groundwater and the organization of water supply from groundwater
• Comprehensive analysis of the mechanized production fund of producing wells (hydrocarbons).
